Steven
Mark Vail passed away as a result of an accidental gun shot wound to the
chest in his hotel room in Texas while on a business trip. Steven
had purchased some replacement parts for his .45 caliber
pistol and was in the process of removing the older parts when the weapon
fired from the hotel desk into his left-front side. The bullet
exited his right-rear and lodged into a dresser behind him.
Detectives are telling us that this was NOT a suicide or murder.
Just a simple accident. Although the magazine was out of the pistol
and laying on the desk outside of the firearm, a single bullet remained in
the chamber.

Mark Vail was 55 years old and leaves behind a very loving family covering
many states. We will miss you dearly.
